Maximum of 4 guests per trip.

By law any fish over 73 inches will be sold by the vessel.

Any fish between 27 inches and under 73 inches can be kept by the charter. (Regulations are subject to change)

Tuna fishing can be very unpredictable. Some days you can get multiple bites and other days zero bites. There is no guarantee to catching a tuna.

A 15-20 percent tip is customary for the mate of the trip.

We target stripers where they feed and migrate, using the most effective techniques for the season, including:

Striped Bass regulations are subject to change (current regulations allow for each person to take home 1 striped bass over 28 inches, but less than 31 inches)

Other Charter Options

Bottom Fishing

Explore areas such as Stellwagen Bank and Cape Cod Bay for Massachusetts abundant bottom fish. Fish for species such as Cod, Haddock, Pollock, Redfish, and more. We will be using techniques such as jigging and bait to catch these fish. The best time to target these fish is April-June and October-November.

Whale Watching Tours

The TopShot is built for serious offshore performance with the versatility to handle inshore trips, this boat delivers a smooth ride even when the water gets sporty.

Disclaimer and Cancellation Policy

What to Bring

On all trips items such as sunglasses, hats, sunscreen, cameras, food and most importantly proper attire should be brought. Weather conditions on the water can be unpredictable, even on the warmest days of the summer, the ocean can make the air very cool. Sweatshirts, pants, raincoats, and boots are highly recommended along with your other preferred attire.

What we Provide

All trips are provided with fishing licenses, ice, dry storage, water, fishing tackle, safety gear.

Weather

The fish are already wet, we do not cancel trips because of rain. We will cancel a trip for storms, high winds, and weather that will make the trip unsafe. The captain will make the proper decision and notify you as soon as possible.

Deposit

A 20 percent deposit will be required to hold your spot for your trip.

If You Need to Cancel

You must notify the captain 48 hours prior to the trips start date or you forfeit your deposit.

Bathroom

On the Top Shot we do not have an installed marine toilet. Improvisions will have to be made.
